When it comes to ranking #1 place in competitions, Canada is no stranger to taking the gold.
We've always ranked very well in many different categories, but
there's nothing like being the best at something to really make
Canadians feel proud of their country.
And what could be more brag-worthy than ranking #1 in terms of quality of life?!
TL;DR Canada has ranked #1 on U.S. News' top 20
"Countries With the Best Quality of Life." More details and complete
list of countries below.
Well, you can definitely give yourself a pat on the back today, because once again, Canada has made it to first place.
U.S. News just released their "Countries With the Best Quality of Life"
survey, which determined which countries would make the list by ranking
each country's job security, political stability, individual freedom,
environmental quality, economic stability, family friendly, income
equality, safety, well-developed public education system, and
well-developed public health system.
In reality, it's no surprise that Canada not only made the list, but
also ranked #1. In case you were wondering what other countries made the
top 20 list for 2019, here you go:
- Canada
- Sweden
- Denmark
- Norway
- Switzerland
- Finland
- Australia
- Netherlands
- New Zealand
- Germany
- Belgium
- UK
- Japan
- Luxembourg

In case you weren't already proud enough to be Canadian, you'll be
happy to know that our ranking on this list has not changed at all since
the 2018 edition. Yes, this is our second year in a row of being the
country with the best quality of life.
There's no doubt that we'll take first place once again next
year. Until then, we can all celebrate living in the best country on
Earth in 2019.
