Hindu refugee claims Buddhist vigilantes, Myanmar Armed Forces involved in Hindu Massacre

“Border Guard Police (BGP), Burmese Army, (Buddhist) villagers from Min Kha Maung and Thet people were involved in killing Hindu”
On May 22, Amnesty International released a report purporting that a Rohingya armed group was involved in the killing of Hindu villagers in Kha Maung Seik, Northern Maungdaw, Rakhine State, Myanmar.
The report compiled on the interviews of Hindu refugees from a refugee camp in Bangladesh and six more Hindu interviewed on phone in the village where the alleged crime took place.
Despite many contradictory testimonies of the Hindu interviewed, Amnesty categorically categorically blamed ARSA (Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army) for the killing, which fuels anti-Rohingya sentiments in Myanmar and India, and propels the agenda of Myanmar Military in the campaign of genocide.
During an interview conducted in Kutupalong camp, a Hindu refugee from the same village claimed it was not Rohingya who killed his people.
Babul said, “Border Guard Police (BGP), Burmese Army, (Buddhist) villagers from Min Kha Maung and Thet people were involved in killing Hindu” when they launched the attacks against Rohingya villagers on August 25, 2017.
The interview with the English subtitles can be watch in the link below.
He also claimed that there were no troubles between Rohingya Muslims and Rohingya Hindu in the village.
“We, the Hindus and Muslims, have been living together more than a hundred years in our village (Kha Maung seik). The differences in our religious faiths did not create any trouble.
“After coming to Bangladesh, I met one of my Hindu neighbours in Kutupalong (refugee camp) bazar last week. He was the first to recognise me here. He embraced me tightly and we cried,” said Hashu Mia, a Rohingya Muslim from Kha Maung Seik told Dhaka Tribune on October 1, 2017.
